India Shining,Really?

As we all know India is among  the fastest growing economies in recent times it has also been subjected to its fair share of criticism levelled against it and it is rightly so.Yes India as an economy has progressed by leaps & bounds in the field of Information Technology,Service,Tourism among many more but hasn't it degraded as a nation when it comes to crime & sexual harassment of women, unreliable bureaucracy, religious prejudice, killing of girl child, corrupt governance, corporate fruads, there are so many of them can't write all of them the list is endless.
Yes all of the above mentioned problems are faced by almost every country but is India doing enough? Is India really shining i beg to differ my friends. There are people who would still say India is the best country to live in and the people are like they hav never seen or it respects women & treats everyone equally i would say Blah..Blah..Blah.It may sound a bit harsh but yes India isn't shining. We are a nation where nowadays women are only treated as a piece of meat, they are groped & molested in public, brutally raped and still people say India is a place where women are treated with dignity they are holy. This has to be a big joke because if it were true women wouldn't hav been endlessly raped. The people who cry out on roads & burn candles and do all dat stuff i have a problem with them tho most. These retards & moron accept to by bystanders when a crime is committed & when there is a outcry they shout out loud give justice and all, bulshit. If it seriously bothers so many of them why dont they act when they are on the actual crime scene. In India everyone likes to come in public limelight want to watch their faces on television ,shout at the top of their voices, committ an act of violence, kill the weak where are they then?It is a challenge not just to our country but we citizens as well.A country is as good as the people it has.Corrupt Government & Unreliable Bureaucracy has made things worse.Yes there are people who would say that we hav no right to blame others we have look in ourselves first it is correct. But until & unless we start doing that i afraid we cant expect change. If you want the change be the change.Once while returning from college i threw some garbage on the street one of my best friends
Vinayak picked it up put the garbage in his bag.I was shellshocked and amazed quite literally.I asked him why he did that & he said that u cant expect to good governance unless we ourselves perform our duty.He won my respect for that.It was he who inculcated the feeling that we ourseleves should do our duty with utmost integrity before questioning the integrity of others. He said if i thnk dat some1 else will pick the garbage up for me then dat is foolish. He made me realise if u want the change be the change. He gave me a good old lesson on Governence & Politics  which i had very little knowledge about it was an eye opener.Moving on endless cases have been filed whereby women are raped the brutality is such it cannot be described. But what is being done are the perpetrator being punished is justice being done?I afriad not and it will never and each & every citizen of our nation is to blamed for that.We elect the government we want then how can we blame the government we are ourselves at fault.Public outcry is a healthy sign of revolt but we should make our actions speak louder than words. What are we doing as a nation is good but on a personal front i thnk we are still lagging behind. There are many challenges besides us and instead of accepting them & solving them we ignore them nd blame it on others this is what we hav always done delegating criticism.I may not be able to raise the issue fully or provide the necessary solution for the same but what i do want to say is that we most stop pretending & believing in this Incredible India version of ours.A nation succeeds when it people succeed.I don't see either of them happening.I don't feel this is subjective i am not blaming u me or anyone but all of us until & unless we start doing somethin on our own how little it may be for the nation   we can't expect to progress and expect change. We are weak yes we are if were strong we might hav been better if not perfect.Yes easier said than done but that's what we got to do to if u want d change be d change.Yes it is easier to criticise than to admire but to be frank there is very little of admiring nd a lot more to criticise if women are treated as they are and if we dnt do much.We are equally responsible we r the society nd we r d nation.I know i am not hitting the bull's eye with this but i sincerely feel there is a whole lot we can do make ourselves better thus helping in the good cause of our country. Hope i send across a good message to a few & women can feel free to walk again without fear.Jai Hind!Bharat Mata ki Jai:)
